Michael Jackson Estate amount settlement with Thriller video girl revealed

The Estate of Michael Jackson terms of settelement of a civil suit with Ola Ray, the who played Michael Jackson's girlfriend in the Thirller video have been disclosed, TMZ reported.

Michael Jackson’s Estate settled with Ola Ray earlier last year, but the payout amount has now been said to be $55,000 in addition to $20,000 in lawyers’ fees.

Also, John Landis, who directed the legendary Thriller video, filed a similar lawsuit, says TMZ, but his settlement was larger than Ola Ray’s. Landis filed against the Michael Jackson Estate for more than $2 million, and while his final payment is not confirmed, the music video director has also finally reached a settlement with the Estate.

Ola originally filed the suit against Michael Jackson and his Production Company in May 2009 claiming breach of contract. Ola said she was still owed a massive chunk of the Thriller profits.
